“ First time here after a quick Google search this morning. Has a small town family type diner feel to it as soon as you walk in the door. Coffee was hot, the menu was very nice and you could not substitute but could order AlaCart, though, which is a plus. Food was good. They cooked the hash browns perfectly, and the veggies on the omelets needed a few more minutes as they were still a little crunchy but overall a great breakfast. Also want to note that they do serve grits which was really nice to find a place that offer them. Overall we will return for sure, just will request the veggies cooled longer and we will be happy campers. ”
“ Stopped in for the first time a few days ago and so glad I did! The Mushroom and Swiss burger was excellent. I had asked my server, Sheena(sp?), about a few menu items as I have a good allergy. She was extremely knowledgeable and even wrote my allergy on the kitchen ticket. I am so appreciative for that. Will definitely stop by again! ”
“ Wow! Great fried chicken! The coating was so crispy and light. I'm craving it again! Update: We went back 3 days later and found out the chicken was the special for the day. The first time we were there, I saw the sign about appetizer specials, so this time, we decided to try the "sampler.". I should have listened when the wonderful waitress asked if we just wanted the chicken ala-carte, but I told her, " No, we'll take it all!". Lol. Check out the size of that sampler! I wish I'd taken a picture with our hand in it so you could see exactly how HUGE that thing was! Lol. Needless to say, our whole chicken dinner went into to-go containers because we couldn't resist all those fried goodies. The chicken had to come home with us, where I hope it will be half as good as it would have been had we eaten it fresh! (Which is ten times better than I could EVER make at home!) Do yourself a favor and try out this little "Diamond in the Rough" place. By the way, the "regulars who were in there both times we went, made sure to tell us to try the tenderloin and the meatloaf. Maybe next time...after I get my fill of that chicken! ”
